Background: Teenagers are a transition from childhood to adulthood, where they tend to have a high curiosity so they want to try something new, one of which is smoking. The increasing prevalence of smoking tends to be greater in children and adolescents. Riskesdas (2018) shows that the population aged 18 years experienced and increase in the prevalence of smoking from 7.2% to 9.1%. The age trend to start smoking as a teenager at the age of 15-19 years was 43.3% (Riskesdas, 2010). Research Objectives: To find out the Description of Knowledge, Attitudes and Actions of Nursing students towards the dangers of smoking at Pelita Harapan University. Research Methods: This research uses descriptive quantitative research methods. Sampling in the study using purposive sampling with a sample of 183 respondents. The instrument in the study used a questionnaire via Google Form. Data analysis techniques using univariate analysis Results: The study showed that the majority of nursing students in class 2019 were 19 years old, had good knowledge about the dangers of smoking which amounted to 88.6% and had a positive attitude and good actions 100%. Suggestion: That the nursing faculty provide more knowledge to students about the dangers of smoking so that students can have good knowledge so they can share with the surrounding environment.
