Background: The incidence of VAP in the world reaches 86%. In Indonesia the incidence of nosocomial infections including VAP reaches 9.8%. The incidence rate of VAP in a hospital in Western Indonesia from 2018 until early 2020 there is no VAP event, but the use of mechanical ventilators increases the risk of VAP. Knowledge related research holds a 71% role in behavior that affects nurses in the implementation of VAP prevention. Purpose: To identify the knowledge and effectiveness of VAP Bundle implementation in intensive care space. Method: this study uses the literature review method. The database used is EBSCO, Pubmed, National Library and Google Scolar with a span of the last ten years (2010-2020), Indonesian and English, full text, quantitative research. Exclusion criteria are qualitative research and literature review. The data analysis method used is a simplifield approach with JBI critical appraisal sheets and PRISMA diagrams. Results: From 14 articles reviewed from four databases the researchers found that the level of nurses' knowledge of the VAP Bundle was in the good category and the implementation of the VAP Bundle was found to be effective in reducing the incidence of VAP. Conclusion: nurses' knowledge of VAP bundles falls into either category and the implementation of VAP bundles in intensive care rooms can effectively reduce the incidence of VAP in intensive care rooms. VAP bundle interventions can also prevent VAP from occurring.
