Background: ARI is a respiratory infection with acute illness and infection in children in Indonesia. Visible disability, pain, and death. One risk factor for ARI is parental knowledge. Bogor is the highest ARI event in West Java. Based on the results of interviews with Posyandu officers in RW 04 Jonggol District, the ISPA incidence was still high in January-May. The results: of interviews with residents of about 5 out of 10 parents who have toddlers do not know how to ask for ISPA. Objective: To find out the description of parents about ISPA discussion on toddlers in RW 04 Jonggol District. Method: using quantitative using descriptive. The research sample is the payment of 45 respondents with purposive sampling technique. The research instrument was a questionnaire with 10 closed statements, data analysis used univariate analysis with categorical data types. Results: A total of 41 respondents had high knowledge (91.1%), 3 respondents had moderate knowledge (6.7%), 1 respondent had low knowledge (2.2%). Suggestion: It is hoped that this research can be a source of information for parents who have toddlers, health education about ARI in toddlers and can do good environmental education to prevent ARI events in RW 04 Jonggol.
