Background: The safety of the patient is one of the principal things that affect the quality of the health and the hospital itself. According to reports of the patient's safety incident in dki province, there are 55 cases of 145 reported in Indonesia. In the Indonesian health administration journal the committee for patients' safety also found a significant increase in cases of the patients' safety incidents in 2017. Nurses and nursing students have participated in nursing care so that both nursing and nursing students played a key role in raising or lowering the hospital's safety incidents. Objective: to identify the factors behind a student nurs profession behavior in carrying out a patient's safety. Methode: Using a descriptive quantitative research method. The technique used in this research is sampling. A sample of 50 respondents in the study, the data analysis technique used was a univariate analysis. Vr test results from are results accounted for knowledge variable 0.788, motivational variable 0.772, organization variable 0.833, environment comfort variable 0.767, and vision variable 0.783. Results: At most (84%) respondents had low knowledge, more than half (66%) had low motivation, more than half (66%) had low organizational influence, more than half (64%) had low environmental comfort, and more than half (60%) had low supervision support. Recommendation: for further researchers to study relationships the factors that influence a nurse's behavior in the practice of patient safety SOP.
