Background: Every student has a body image that is different from other students when faced with the same object. Appearance is very important for students because students are currently in a transitional age or experiencing changes in body shape, so that body image is very important to note to look attractive and in accordance with what is expected. The purpose of this research: to find out the description of students about a body image at Pelita Harapan University. Research methods: this research uses quantitative descriptive method with the sampling technique is accidental sampling. The sample in this study amounted to 392 students. The instrument in the study used a questionnaire with a Body Shape Questionnaire (BSQ). The data analysis technique used is uni variate. Research Results: showed that 82.9% of students had a positive body image and 17.1% of students had a negative body image. Suggestion: the next researcher can examine the factors that influence students about a body image with qualitative research.
