Abstract

The error of patient identification becomes one of the triggers of subsequent error of action. Based on incident reports every year shows that increased in many health services both in the world even in Indonesia. The nurses as a health worker plays an important role to prevent error identification of the patient by applying the complience identification action. According to QR data rumah sakit Siloam Dhirga Surya, compliance with patient identification did not increase significantly. Therefore it is necessary to study the description of the compliance of the nurses to carry out the identification of the patient in the inpatient room of rumah sakit Siloam Dhirga Surya. This research uses descriptive quantitative method with observation approach. Researchers conducted a study of nurses in the inpatient room as many as 34 people with total sampling technique. Data collection is done by observation technique that is by doing observation to respondent activity by researcher. Data processing is done by data editing, coding, and data presentation. Data analysis using univariate analysis is describe variable with picture. The result of this study indicate the level of health at Inpatient Department rumah sakit Siloam Dhirga Surya discompliance as many 32 people nurses (94.1%) and compliance as much as two people (5.9%).. Suggestions for health services to cultivate the implementation of patient identification properly and to conduct an evaluation of health workers / Kesalahan terhadap identifikasi pasien menjadi salah satu pemicu terjadinya kesalahan tindakan selanjutnya. Berdasarkan laporan insiden setiap tahunnya menunjukkan peningkatan diberbagai pelayanan kesehatan baik di dunia bahkan di Indonesia. Perawat sebagai tenaga kesehatan berperan penting untuk mencegah kesalahan identifikasi terhadap pasien dengan menerapkan tindakan kepatuhan identifikasi. Menurut data QR rumah sakit Siloam Dhirga Surya, kepatuhan terhadap identifikasi pasien tidak mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan. Oleh sebab itu diperlukan penelitian mengenai gambaran kepatuhan perawat melaksanakan identifikasi pasien di ruang rawat inap rumah siloam Dhirga Surya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan observasi. Peneliti melakukan penelitian terhadap perawat di ruang rawat inap sebanyak 34 orang dengan teknik total sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi yaitu dengan melakukan pengamatan terhadap kegiatan responden oleh peneliti. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan pengeditan data, coding, dan penyajian data. Analisa data menggunakan analisa univariat yaitu mendeskripsikan variabel dengan gambaran. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kepatuhan perawat melaksanakan identifikasi pasien di ruang rawat inap rumah sakit Siloam Dhirga Surya adalah tidak patuh sebanyak 32 orang (94.1%) dan patuh sebanyak dua orang (5.9%). Saran untuk pelayanan kesehatan agar membudayakan pelaksanaan identifikasi pasien dengan tepat dan melakukan evaluasi terhadap petugas kesehatan.
