Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 menimbulkan peraturan PSBB (Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar) yang berpengaruh kepada seluruh aspek kehidupan, salah satunya bidang pendidikan. Perubahan sistem pendidikan yang terjadi secara signifikan memiliki banyak kendala dan tidak berjalan mulus. Dalam kasus ini, presentasenya akan semakin besar bagi mahasiswa yang berkebutuhan khusus, khususnya mahasiswa yang termasuk dalam Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu melakukan inovasi dalam pengembangan teknologi bantu (asistif), meningkatkan pengalaman pembelajaran, dan membentuk budaya keberagaman dan tidak diskriminatif bagi mahasiswa berkebutuhan khusus. Metode penelitian dimulai dari melakukan wawancara terhadap mahasiswa dengan ASD dan pendampingnya, dan dilanjutkan sampai pembuatan prototype. Perancangan ini diharapkan dapat membantu mahasiswa ASD sebagai sarana pembelajaran yang memiliki tampilan dan metode pembelajaran yang ramah ASD. Kata Kunci: Website aplikasi, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Alat bantu belajar./The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in PSBB (Large-Scale Social Restrictions) regulations that affect all aspects of life, one of which is the education sector. Changes in the education system that have occurred significantly have many schools and are not running smoothly. In this case, the percentage will be even greater for students with special needs, especially students who are included in the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The purpose of this research is to innovate in the development of assistive technology, improve the learning experience, and form a culture of diversity and non-discrimination for students with special needs. The research method started from interviews with students with ASD and their assistants, and introcessing to making prototypes. This design is expected to help ASD students as a learning tool that has an ASD-friendly appearance and learning method.
