There is a phenomenon of stock price fluctuation especially in consumer goods sector that listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the year of 2016 until 2017. Its fluctuation causes uncertainty regarding stock return that can be obtained by investors in their investment. Variable that can be predicted by investors regarding stock return is internal factors of company such as earning per share, dividend payout ratio and debt to equity ratio. Those factors directly relate with investors as their income or return. Nevertheless, previous researches yielded inconsistent results regarding the impact of those factors on stock return. Thus, this research is intended to know the impact of earning per share, dividend payout ratio and debt to equity ratio on stock return. This research is conducted on consumer goods companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the year of 2014 until 2017. This research is quantitative research by utilizing secondary data. 18 companies are selected as sample from total population of 48 companies by utilizing purposive sampling method, in which the total sample for four years period are 72 companies. Data analysis method utilized in this research is multiple linear regression model with the support of SPSS program. In the end, the results of this research indicate that earning per share does not have an impact on stock return, dividend payout ratio has an impact on stock return and debt to equity ratio also has an impact on stock return.
