Abstract

Compliance of nurses in the implementation of the principle of six correct drug is a very important factor in the practice of nursing. The incidence of medication errors that occur due to disobedience in the principles of six correct dispensing performed nurses in the workforce. This research aims to identify the description of the compliance of nurses on the implementation of the principle of six true drug in inpatient department Siloam Hospitals Labuan Bajo. The respondents in this study is the inpatient room nurses who were involved in administering the frug. Sampling using a total sample numbered 26 nurses. Data collected by disseminating the questiinnare data demographics and did observation drug to obtaindescriptive data about the level of compliance with the six principles are true regarding nurses administering medications. The results of study of the image of nurses on the implementation of the principle of compliance with the six correct dispensing obtained the results of the whole nurse dutifully on the right drug, right dose, right way of granting, and correct documentation. On the right of the patient, only 11 nurse dutifully (42,30%) and 15 wayward nurses (57,69%), as well as at the right time 15 nurse dutifully (57,69%) and 11 nurses wayward (43,30%) / Kepatuhan perawat dalam pelaksanaan prinsip enam benar pemberian obat adalah faktor yang sangat penting dalam praktik keperawatan. Insiden medication error yang terjadi dikarenakan ketidakpatuhan dalam prinsip enam benar pemberian obat yang dilakukan perawat dalam dunia kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi gambaran kepatuhan perawat pada pelaksanaan prinsip enam benar pemberian obat di ruang rawat inap Siloam Hospitals Labuan Bajo. Desain yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif deskriptif. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah perawat ruang rawat inap yang berperan dalam pemberian obat. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling berjumlah 26 perawat. Data dikumpulkan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner data demografi dan melakukan observasi pemberian obat untuk memperoleh data deskriptif tentang tingkat kepatuhan perawat mengenai prinsip enam benar pemberian obat. Hasil penelitian tentang gambaran kepatuhan perawat pada pelaksanaan prinsip enam benar pemberian obat didapatkan hasil seluruh perawat patuh pada poin benar obat, benar dosis, benar cara pemberian, dan benar dokumentasi. Pada benar pasien, hanya 11 perawat patuh (42,30%) dan 15 perawat tidak patuh (57,69%), serta pada benar waktu 15 perawat patuh (57,69%), dan 11 perawat tidak patuh (42,30%).
