Background: Diabetes Mellitus is a metabolic disease due to increased blood sugar levels. Upholding nursing problems requires a thorough assessment so that nurses can provide appropriate interventions. Aim: To analyze the description of nursing problems that often occur in DM Type II. Method: Using a simplified approach method. Articles taken from the Google Schoolar database: 21,290, PubMed: 68,642, then criticized using JBI Critical Appraisal Tools to get 5 articles. Results: From the five articles obtained 4 domains namely nutrition consisting of nutritional imbalance less than the body's needs, blood sugar instability, lack of fluid volume, activity / rest consisting of barriers to physical mobility, fatigue and ineffectiveness of peripheral tissue perfusion, safety / protection consisting from the risk of infection, damage to skin integrity and the ineffectiveness of airway clearance and comfort consisting of acute pain. Conclusion: Type II DM nursing problems are established based on responses and signs of symptoms experienced by patients as well as the results of a comprehensive assessment conducted by nurses. Recommendations: Further research can be done directly at the hospital using medical record documents and quantitative descriptive methods.
