Abstract

Under water robot is a robot that moves in the water and controlled by a remote controller. This robot consist of 4 main components : AT89S51 microcontroller, as the brain, camera to take photos and videos, tilt sensor that works to maintain stabilization of the robot, servo motors to maneuver the robot and dc motor with propeller to lift the robot to water surface. This robot moves using six servo motors and robotic movement based on the input from the remote control with a forward speed of 0.5 cm/sec and turn 900 for 16 seconds. The maximum distance between the robot and controller horizontally is 6 m and a depth of 30 cm from the water surface to the top of the robot. Photo and video taking done remotely with remote controller. / Robot dalam air merupakan robot yang dapat bergerak dibawah air dan dikendalikan dengan menggunakan pengendali jarak jauh. Robot ini terdiri dari 4 komponen utama, yaitu mikrokontroler AT89S51 sebagai pengendali utama, kamera sebagai alat pengambilan gambar dan video, tilt sensor digunakan untuk menjaga keseimbangan robot, servo motor digunakan sebagai penggerak dan motor dc dengan baling-baling untuk mengangkat robot keatas permukaan air. Robot ini bergerak dengan menggunakan enam motor servo dan pergerakkan robot didasarkan atas masukan dari pengendali jarak jauh dengan kecepatan maju 0.5 cm/detik dan berputar 900 selama 16 detik. Jarak maksimum antara pengendali dan robot secara horizontal 6 m dan kedalaman 30 cm dari permukaan air ke bagian atas robot. Pengambilan gambar dan video dikendalikan oleh pengendali jarak jauh
