Leasing is one of the sources of external financing which companies can utilise when they are experiencing financial constraint. From the lessee’s perspective, leasing is preferred as it offers less costly financing, tax advantage and off-balance-sheet financing. Despite that, conclusions from a previous research suggests financial constraint does not have an impact on the decision to lease.This research aims to analyse the impact of financialconstraint, asset value and company growth on the operating lease decision using the quantitative descriptive approach. The object of the study is gathered from Indonesian non�financial public firms listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange for the period 2015 to 2017. The secondary data is collected from those companies’ 2015 to 2017 financial statements. Using purposive sampling method and logistic regression model analysis, 50 out of 421 companies are selected as samples.The finding revealed that financial constraint partially and directlyinfluences the operating lease decision insignificantly, asset value partially and directly influences the operating lease decision insignificantly and company growth partially and inversely influences the operating lease decision insignificantly. Simultaneously, financial constraint, asset value and company growth have an insignificant impact on the operating lease decision
