Background: Dysmenorrhoea is a pain felt by some women during menstruation. 21 out of 30 female students (70%) feel the dysmenorrhea. The perceived impact is disturbed activity by ten respondents (47.6%), not doing activities there are six respondents (28.6%) and lazy to do activities there are five respondents (23.8%). Knowledge is the basis for thinking and action, therefore women's knowledge about dysmenorrhoea can influence its management. Aim: To describe the level of women knowledge about dysmenorrhea and management. This research uses descriptive analysis method with quantitative approach. The population of this research is all female students at the Faculty of Nursing, at a Private University in Tangerang, with 54 peoples sample. Method: This research used questionnaires with purposive sampling technique for data gathering, which was determined by inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data analysis techniques using univariate analysis. Results: Research showed the level of women's knowledge about dysmenorrhoea and its management is in a fairly good category as much found as 40 respondents (74.1%), with the highest level of education in the first batch there are 41 respondents (75.9%). Recommendation: Every woman is expected to seek and receive health information, and to be able to behave in a clean and healthy life.
