Pada masa remaja, di mana seseorang mulai memperhatikan penampilan fisiknya dan berusaha merubah penampilan agar terlihat lebih ideal, sehingga tercetuslah istilah body image. Kemudian, terjadi juga fluktuasi emosi yang lebih sering dari pada sebelumnya sehingga menjadi rentan untuk mengalami kemarahan, depresi, dan kesulitan dalam mengatasi emosi. Depresi sendiri menjadi gangguan mental tertinggi di Indonesia selama tiga dekade. /During this period, adolescence tend to pay more attention toward physical appearance and change their body shape in order to fulfil their desired and ideal type of body, which eventually known as body image. Moreover, the fluctuation of their own emotions occurs more frequently than before, making them more vulnerable to anger, depression, and experience the struggle to cope with their emotions. Depression itself has the highest prevalence among mental disorders in Indonesia for three decades.
