Tionghoa merupakan etnis yang terdapat di Indonesia dan sudah tersebar hampir di seluruh Indonesia. Etnis Tionghoa datang ke Indonesia dengan tujuan berdagang serta mereka menjalin hubungan baik dengan masyarakat asli Indonesia. Pada masa kini etnis Tionghoa yang terdapat di Indonesia rata-rata merupakan keturunan dari leluhur mereka dan keturunan tersebut yang merasakan diskriminasi antara penduduk lokal Indonesia (Pribumi) dan kaum pendatang (Etnis Tionghoa) yang terkadang menyebabkan perselisihan antara kedua belah pihak tersebut yang tidak memandang usia orang tersebut. Strategi penyajian pesan yang diimplementasikan pada film Putih Segaris menggunakan komedi ringan dengan tujuan untuk menghibur penonton. Gesture cukup ditekankan pada film Putih Segaris agar penonton lebih memahami film ini. Pada film Putih Segaris metafora dipergunakan untuk membentuk kontras antara korban rasisme dan pelaku rasisme. Film Putih Segaris memperlihatkan rasisme melalui perlakuan dan sifat-sifat karakter dalam menyelesaikan masalahnya. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan adalah untuk mengetahui hal-hal yang dapat dibilang negatif yang menghasilkan hal positif pada masyarakat Tionghoa melalui media film bergenre drama komedi. / Chinese are an ethnic group in Indonesia and they have spread almost all over Indonesia. Chinese came to Indonesia with the aim of trading and they established good relations with the indigenous people of Indonesia. Nowadays, the ethnic Chinese in Indonesia are the descendants of their ancestors and the descendants who feel discrimination between the local Indonesians (Indigenous) and the immigrants (Ethnic Chinese) that sometimes leads to disputes between the two sides that do not regard the age of the person. This was initially due to stratification where Chinese people were in the upper middle class and local people were in the lower middle class which caused conflict because of social jealousy about economic problems. The message-presentation strategy implemented in Putih Segaris short film uses light comedy with the aim of entertaining the audience. Gestures are emphasized enough on the film Putih Segaris so that the audience better understand the film. In the film Putih Segaris, metaphor is used to form a contrast between victims of racism and perpetrators of racism. Putih Segaris short film shows racism through the treatment and character traits in solving the problem. The purpose of this research is to know the things that can be said negative that produce positive things in Chinese society through the media of comedy drama genre films.
