ASI eksklusif merupakan makanan yang terbaik untuk pemenuhan gizi bayi selama proses tumbuh kembang dari usia nol sampai enam bulan. Persentase pemberian ASI eksklusif berdasarkan Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) pada tahun 2020 di Provinsi Maluku hanya mencapai 57.19%. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi tinggi rendahnya pemberian ASI eksklusif yaitu pengetahuan ibu. Data awal didapatkan persentase pendidikan terakhir ibu di Desa Nolloth antara lain SD (25%), SMP (25%), dan SMA (50%). Serta diberikannya makanan pedamping ASI sebelum bayi berusia enam bulan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan ibu tentang ASI eksklusif di Desa Nolloth Kecamatan Saparua Timur Kabupaten Maluku Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif jenis deskriptif yang melibatkan 34 ibu yang memiliki bayi usia nol sampai enam bulan sebagai sampel dengan teknik sampel yang digunakan adalah total sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis univariat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan sebanyak 31 ibu (91,2%) memilki pengetahuan yang tinggi tentang ASI eksklusif dan sebanyak tiga ibu (8,8%) memiliki pengetahuan yang rendah tentang ASI eksklusif. Diharapkan kepada peneliti selanjutnya untuk melakukan penelitian tentang faktor-faktor dan sikap yang mempengaruhi pemberian ASI eksklusif. / Exclusive breastfeeding is the best food for nutrition fulfillment of infants during the development process from zero to six months of age. The percentage of exclusive breastfeeding based on the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in 2020 at Maluku province only reached is 57,19%. This study was conducted to describe the knowledge of mothers about exclusive breastfeeding in Nolloth village, East Saparua district, at Central Mollucas district. This study uses a descriptive quantitative method involving 34 mothers who have babies aged zero to six months as samples, The technique of this sudy used total sampling. The instrument of this study used a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is univariate analysis. This research shows 31 mothers (91,2%) had high knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding and three mothers (8,8%) had low knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding. For the future research, hopefully to develop this research about the factors and attitudes that influence exclusive breastfeeding.
