Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisa pengaruh iklim komunikasi organisasi terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan, di latarbelakangi oleh tingginya angka turnover karyawan dengan masa kerja dibawah dua tahun. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori Kesehatan-Motivator dari Hezberg tentang motivasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksplanatif yang bersifat asosiatif, yang menjelaskan hubungan antar variabel tanpa membandingkan antar variabel yang sejenis, namun lebih kepada menjelaskan pengaruh dari fenomena yang terjadi antara variabel X dan Y. Perhitungan sample dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin dan tingkat kesalahan sebesar 5% dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil dalam penelitian ini terdapat hubungan positif antara variabel Iklim Komunikasi Organisasi dengan Motivasi Kerja karyawan dengan nilai korelasi positif sebesar 0.606, dan terdapat pengaruh antar variabel sebesar 36.7%. Sejalan dengan teori motivator dari Hezberg yang menyatakan bahwa jika perusahaan ingin mempertahankan karyawan, maka perusahaan harus memperhatikan faktor kesehatan salah satunya adalah lingkungan kerja itu sendiri. Karenanya penting bagi perusahaan untuk senantiasa menjaga iklim komunikasi di dalam organisasi agar selalu kondusif. Untuk peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan dapat mengkaji variabel lainnya selain Iklim Komunikasi Organisasi yang dalam penelitian ini belum diteliti untuk memperluas hasil penelitian / This study analyzes the influence of organizational communication climate on employee motivation, with the background of the high turnover rate for employees with a service period of less than two years. The theory used in this study is Hezberg's Health-Motivator theory of motivation. This study uses a quantitative method with an associative explanative approach, which explains the relationship between variables without comparing between similar variables, but rather explains the effect of phenomena that occur between variables X and Y. error of 5% by using a questionnaire. The results in this study there is a positive relationship between the variables of Organizational Communication Climate with Employee Motivation with a positive correlation value of 0.606, and there is an influence between variables of 36.7%. In line with Hezberg's motivator theory which states that if a company wants to retain employees, the company must pay attention to health factors, one of which is the work environment itself. Therefore it is important for companies to always maintain a communication climate within the organization so that it is always conducive. For further researchers, it is hoped that they can study other variables besides the Organizational Communication Climate which in this study have not been studied to expand the research results
