Abstract

Usia dibawah lima tahun terutama pada usia 1-3 tahun merupakan masa pertum- buhan yang pesat, baik fisik maupun otak. Pada masa ini anak sering mengalami kesulitan makan sehingga kebutuhan nutrisi tidak tertangani dengan baik. Asupan zat nutrisi pada anak yang tidak adekuat dapat berakibat terganggunya pertum- buhan dan perkembangan anak, dalam hal inilah peran ibu sangat penting dalam pemenuhan nutrisi pada anak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan ibu mengenai manajemen nutrisi dengan status gizi anak toddler. Desain yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif korelasional. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu yang memiliki anak usia toddler yang berkunjung di Puskesmas Binong Tangerang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik Purposive Sampling yaitu 75 responden. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner multiple choice. Hasil Analisis Chi Square menun- jukkan ada hubungan pengetahuan ibu mengenai manajemen nutrisi dengan status gizi anak toddler [p value=0,000 (<0,05)]. Manajemen nutrisi pada anak usia tod- dler harus dipertahankan dalam rentang normal guna untuk mendukung pertum- buhan, perkembangan, daya tangkap, aktifitas fisik yang sering dilakukan anak. Diharapkan kepada orang tua untuk tetap mengatur asupan nutrisi agar anak dapat bertumbuh secara optimal./Age under five years, especially at the age of 1-3 years is a period of rapid growth, both physically and mentally. At this time children often have difficulty eating so that nutritional needs are not handled properly. Inadequate intake of nutrients in children can result in impaired growth and development of children, in this case the mother's role is very important in fulfilling nutrition in children. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between mother's knowledge of nutritional management and the nutritional status of toddlers. The design used is correlational quantitative research. The population used in this study were mothers who had toddler age children who visited the Binong Public Health Center, Tangerang. The sampling technique used is the purposive sampling technique, which is 75 respondents. The instrument used is a multiple choice questionnaire. The results of the Chi Square analysis show that there is a relationship between mother's knowledge of nutrition management and the nutritional status of toddlers [p value = 0.000 (<0.05)]. Nutritional management in toddlers must be maintained within normal ranges in order to support growth, development, comprehension, physical activity that children often do. It is hoped that parents will continue to regulate nutritional intake so that their children can grow optimally.
