Abstract
Pandemi COVID-19 telah menciptakan fenomena sosial di masyarakat yaitu stigma. Dampak stigma menyebabkan masyarakat akan menyembunyikan penyakitnya dan menghindari pelayanan kesehatan sehingga penyebaran COVID-19 sulit dikontrol. Menurut WHO, faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan stigma antara lain pengetahuan, kecemasan dan rumor. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan, kecemasan dan rumor dengan stigma terkait COVID-19 di RW 02 Kelurahan Patrang Jawa Timur. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel penelitian sejumlah 156 responden diambil menggunakan teknik convenience sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner yang telah valid dan reliabel yaitu kuesioner pengetahuan 0,728, kecemasan 0,097, rumor 0,798 dan stigma 0,787 yang disebarkan secara online. Hasil penelitian pada warga Patrang didapatkan sebesar 98,7% memiliki pengetahuan baik, 62,2% memiliki kecemasan ringan, jumlah warga yang memiliki rumor tinggi seimbang dengan yang memiliki rumor rendah (50%). Selain itu didapatkan ada hubungan yang signifikan antara rumor (p=0,00) dengan stigma terkait COVID-19, dan tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan (p=0,498) dan kecemasan (p=1,776) dengan stigma terkait COVID-19. Pemerintah dan Instansi kesehatan diharapkan memberikan informasi yang akurat dan lengkap kepada masyarakat mengenai COVID-19 agar dapat menghentikan stigma yang ada ditengah masyarakat. Masyarakat disarankan untuk mencari informasi hanya dari sumber yang terpercaya untuk mencegah penyebaran rumor dan stigma./The COVID-19 pandemic has created a social phenomenon in society, namely stigma. The impact of stigma causes people will conceal the disease and avoid health services so that the spread of COVID-19 is difficult to control. According to WHO, factors associated with stigma include knowledge, anxiety and rumors. The research objective was to determine the relationship between knowledge, anxiety, and rumors with the stigma associated with COVID-19 in RW 02 Patrang Village, East Java. This research is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional approach. The study sample of 156 respondens was taken using convenience sampling technique. This research used a valid and reliable questionnaire, namely a knowledge questionnaire (0.728), anxiety questionnaire (0,97), rumor quesionare (0.798) and stigma (0.787) which were distributed online. The results showed that mos of people had 98.7% of a good knowledge, 62.2% of mild anxiety, and had 50% high and low rumors. In addition, it was found that there is a significant relationship between rumors (p=0.00) and the stigma associated with COVID-19; and there is no significant relationship between knowledge (p=0.498) and reports (p=1.776) with the stigma associated with COVID-19. The government and health agencies are expected to provide accurate and complete information to the public regarding COVID-19 prevention measurements in order to halt the stigma circulated in the community. People are advised to seek information only from trusted sources to prevent the spread of rumors and stigma.
