Tuberkulosis merupakan suatu penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh bakteri Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Strategi DOTS untuk menanggulangi masalah Tuberkulosis di Indonesia dan keberhasilan program ini mengacu pada manajemen dan ketersediaan sumber daya dalam mencapai tujuan pengobatan yang efektif dan efisien. Keluarga berperan dalam mengawasi dan mendukung dalam meminum obat yang sudah diinstruksikan dengan baik dan keluarga juga membantu mengawasi pasien terhadap efek samping obat yangterjadi pada pasien, memeriksa kebutuhan atau ketersediaan obat yang dimiliki pasien dan melakukan pengambilan obat dan melakukan pencatatan serta pelaporan. Bertujuan ntuk menganalisa Efektivitas Peran Keluarga Dalam Strategi Directly Observed Treatment Short Course DOTS Pada Pasien Tuberkulosis. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan yaitu systematic literatur review dengan 4 Database: Pubmed, Google Scholar, Science Direct dan Taylor & Francis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan Peran keluarga dalam strategi DOTS efektif sebagai sumber daya dalam mencapai pengobatan TB yang efektif dan efisien. Tema utama yang didapat efektivitas peran keluarga dalam strategi Directly Observed Treatment Short Course (DOTS) pada pasien Tuberculosis dengan sub tema program DOTS, peran keluarga, Pengawas Minum Obat dan pemberi dukungan. Pentingnya tenaga kesehatan melibatkan keluarga dan melakukan kolaborasi dengan keluarga mengenai dalam strategi DOTS untuk pengendalian TB. The result show that the role of the family in an effective DOTS strategy as a resource in achieving effective and efficient TB treatment. The main theme obtained from the role of the family in the Directly Observed Treatment Short Course (DOTS) strategy in tuberculosis patients with the sub-theme of the DOTS program, the role of the family, supervisors taking medication and support.
