Abstract
Latar Belakang: Pemahaman akademik adalah ketika siswa dapat menemukan hubungan antara pengetahuan baru untuk ditambahkan pada pengetahuan sebelumnya. Adapun indikator pemahaman akademik yaitu dapat menafsirkan, memberikan contoh, mengklasifikasikan, meringkas, menarik kesimpulan, membandingkan, serta mampu menjelaskan kembali. Perawat memiliki empat peran umum sebagai edukator, pemimpin komunitas, pemberi asuhan, advokat, dan peneliti, sehingga membutuhkan pemahaman akademik. Sebagai mahasiswa keperawatan yang akan menjadi seorang perawat dikemudian hari harus memiliki pemahaman akademik yang baik dalam pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pemahaman akademik mahasiswa keperawatan dalam pembelajaran online di salah satu universitas swasta di Indonesia Barat. Metode penelitian: penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif survey. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 276 responden dengan teknik proportional stratified random sampling. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa keperawatan paham dalam pembelajaran online dengan jumlah mahasiswa paham sebesar 60.1% dan jumlah mahasiswa tidak paham sebesar 39.9%. Indikator dengan persentase paham tertinggi adalah indikator pertama (kemampuan menafsirkan) dan indikator kempat (mampu mengklasifikasikan) dengan persentase 69.2% sedangkan indikator dengan persentase tidak paham tertinggi adalah indikator ketujuh (membandingkan perbedaan dari dua objek, ide, dan situasi) dengan persentase sebesar 57.2%. Rekomendasi: Diharapkan peneliti selanjutnya dapat mengenbangkan penelitian ini dengan menggunakan metode lain untuk meneliti pemahaman akademik mahasiswa keperawatan / Background: Academic understanding is when students can find relationships between new knowledge to add to previous knowledge. The indicators of academic understanding are being able to interpret, provide examples, classify, summarize, draw conclusions, compare, and be able to explain again. Nurses have four general roles as caregivers, community leaders, educators, advocates, and researchers so they need academic understanding. As a nursing student who will become a nurse in the future, he must have a good academic understanding in education. Research Objective: This study aims to determine the description of nursing students' academic understanding in online learning at a private university in Western Indonesia. Research Method: This study used a descriptive survey method. The research sample amounted to 276 respondents with techniques proportional stratified random sampling. Results: The results showed that the academic understanding of nursing students in online learning was high with 60.1% of students understanding and 39.9% of students who did not understand. The indicator with the highest percentage of understanding is the first indicator (ability to interpret) and the fourth indicator (able to classify) with a percentage of 69.2% while the indicator with the highest percentage of misunderstanding is the seventh indicator (comparing the differences between two objects, ideas, and situations) with a percentage of 57.2%. Recommendations: It is hoped that further researchers can develop this research by using other methods to examine the academic understanding of nursing students.
