Abstract

Latar Belakang: Covid-19 merupakan suatu penyakit yang menular yang disebabkan oleh virus SARS-Cov-2 atau virus corona. Data awal yang didapatkan dengan wawancara online secara acak pada 10 responden yang berada di kota Ambon, terkait pengetahuan tentang Covid-19 dan juga praktik 3M (menjaga jarak, mencuci tangan, memakai masker), 7 dari 10 responden tidak memiliki pengetahuan yang baik dan 7 dari 10 responden tidak melakukan praktik 3M. Tujuan Penelitian: untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan tingkat pengetahuan dengan praktik masyarakat dalam penerapan protokol kesehatan 3M di masyarakat Kecamatan Sirimau, Kota Ambon pada masa pandemik. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif korelasional dan mendistribusikan pertanyaan tertutup dalam kuesioner online (google form). Responden penelitian ini berjumlah 329 dengan teknik purposive sampling dengan menggunakan rumus slovin. Analisa data menggunakan deskriptif kolerasi dengan analisa uji chi square. Hasil Penelitian: Analisa uji chi square menunjukan adanya hubungan tingkat pengetahuan dengan praktik masyarakat dalam penerapan protokol kesehatan 3M dan hasil yang didapat 91% masyarakat mempunyai pengetahuan baik dan 91% masyarakat melakukan protokol kesehatan 3M dengan nilai p-value 0,04 (< 0,05). Rekomendasi: Bagi pemerintah dan tenaga kesehatan diharapkan dapat memberikan edukasi tentang pengetahuan Covid-19 dan penting menerapkan protokol 3M untuk pencegahan Covid-19. / Background: Covid-19 is an infectious disease caused by the SARS-Cov-2 virus or corona virus. When collecting initial data by conducting random interviews with 10 respondents in the city of Ambon, relate with this knowledge about Covid-19 as well as 3M practices (maintaining distance, washing hands, wearing masks), 7 out of 10 respondents did not have good knowledge and 7 out of 10 respondents did not practice 3M during pandemic. Research objective: to identify the relationship between the level of knowledge and community practice in the application of the 3M health protocol in the Sirimau District, Ambon City. Research Methods: This studies using a descriptive correlational analysis method and distributes closed questions in an online questionnaire (google form) to the people of Sirimau District, Ambon City through social networks. Respondents of this study amounted to 329 with purposive sampling technique using the Slovin formula. Data analysis used descriptive of correlation with chi square test analysis. Results: Chi square test analysis shows that there is a relationship between the level of knowledge and community practice in the application of the 3M health protocol and the results obtained are 91% of the people have good knowledge and 91% of the community carry out the 3M health protocol with a p-value of 0.04 (< 0, 05). Recommendation: The government and health workers are expected to be able to give education about community knowledge and practices in the application of the 3M health protocol.
