Investasi asing yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan Multinasional di percayai sebagai cara untuk meningkatkan pengembangan ekonomi nasional karena dapat memberi dampak terhadap ekonomi negara dan juga lingkungan operasi perusahaan terutama di daerah yang masih tertinggal. Dengan adanya perundang – undangan kewajiban tanggung jawab sosial bagi perusahaan multinasional, pemerintah berekspetasi bahwa sudah seharusnya perusahaan multinasional bisa memperhatikan masyarakat sekitar mereka beroperasi dan bantu mengembangkan masyrakat tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa PT BIA dalam tanggung jawab sosial perusahaannya terhadap permberdayaan masyarakat Kampung Selil dalam mendukung Sustainable Development Goals di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyiratkan bahwa partisipasi PT BIA dalam tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan terhadap permberdayaan masyarakat Kampung Selil untuk mendukung Sustainable Development Goals di Indonesia bisa dilihat dari telah terlaksana program-program pemberian pendidikan, lapangan kerja, kesehatan dan pembentukan kebun plasma akan tetapi hanya membawa sangat sedikit efek terhadap kondisi ekonomi-sosial masyarakat Selil yang masih tetap berada dalam tingkat ekonomi yang rendah. Selanjutnya PT BIA juga berpartisipati dalam Sustainable Development Goals nomor tiga, empat dan enam di Indonesia./ Foreign investment made by multinational companies is believed to be a way to increase national economic development because it can have an impact on the country's economy and the company's operating environment, especially in areas that are still lagging. With the legislation on social responsibility obligations for multinational companies, the government expects that multinational companies should be able to pay attention to the communities around which they operate and help develop these communities. This study aims to analyse PT BIA in its corporate social responsibility towards the empowerment of the Selil Village community in supporting the Sustainable Development Goals in Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative approach and uses descriptive research methods. The results of this study imply that PT BIA's participation in corporate social responsibility towards the empowerment of the Kampung Selil community to support the Sustainable Development Goals in Indonesia can be seen from the implementation of programs providing education, employment, health, and the establishment of plasma plantations but have very little impact on the socio-economic conditions of the Selil people who are still in a low economic level. Furthermore, PT BIA also participates in Sustainable Development Goals number three, four and six in Indonesia.
