Abstract
The globalization has increase FDI role in economic development. It became the source of economic incentives for developing and under-develop states to develop their national economy. Therefore, referring to President Joko Widodo favoritism towards FDI to realize Indonesia economic development. Is there any correlation of FDI to sustain Indonesia economic power, as the presidents keep focusing FDI flows into national economic agendas? The data collection techniques are relied on literature reviews that emphasize on qualitative analyze techniques. The results find FDI is utilized to sustain Indonesia economic power. Indonesia implements soft-hedging approach in order to sustain FDI as financial development source, especially with China. Therefore, Indonesia would maintain its autonomy and sovereignty as a state / Globalisasi telah meningkatkan peran FDI dalam perkembangan ekonomi. FDI mengembangkan ekonomi nasional negara berkembang dan negara kurang berkembang dengan memberikan sumber insentif ekonomi. Maka daripadai itudkita dapat menilik sikap Presiden Joko Widodo yang mengutamakan FDI untuk merealisakikan perkembangna ekonomi Indonesia. Jadi apakah ada korelasi atau hubungan dalam alur FDI terutama dalam mendukung kekuatan ekonomi Indonesia, yang dimana presiden sangat memfokuskan alur FDI ke agenda-agenda ekonomi nasional Indonesia. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik analisa kualitatif yang dimana sangat berkaitan erat dengan teknik meninjau pustaka-pustaka. Hasil penelitan menemukan bahwa FDI mendukung perkembangan kekuatan ekonomi Indonesia. Indonesia melakukan pendekatan soft-hedging dalam menjaga FDI sebagai sumber bantuan finansial pengembangan, terutama terhadap China. Karena itu, Indonesia masih dapat menjaga otonomi dan kedaulatan sebagai sebuah negara.
