Abstract

ABSTRAK Maruli Tua (01502190011) PENERAPAN PENGGUNAAN PROTOKOL KESEHATAN : APD PADA MASA PANDEMIK COVID-19 DI SALAH SATU RUMAH SAKIT DI JAWA BARAT (xii + 57 Halaman; 1 Bagan; 4 Tabel; 6 Lampiran) Latar Belakang:Tenaga medis di suatu rumah sakit memiliki resiko terpapar penularan penyakit akibat kerja yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan pekerja lain. Mereka adalah garda terdepan yang memberikan pelayanan kesehatan pada pasien yang terkonfirmasi Covid-19. Siuasi pandemi Covid-19 yang terjadi saat ini mengakibatkan tingginya angka tenaga kesehatan yang terkonfirmasi Covid-19 bahkan sampai kematian.Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan penggunaan protokol kesehatan: APD (alat pelindung diri). Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan melakuan observasional kepada tenaga kesehatan yaitu medis pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 55 responden. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah lembar ceklist observasi dengan mengacu kepada standar operasional prosedur yang ada di rumah sakit tersebut Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dari 55 responden 63,6% (n=35) diantaranya menerapkan penggunaan APD. Kesimpulan: Penerapan penggunaan APD pada masa pandemi di salah satu rumah sakit di Jawa Barat belum berjalan dengan baik, untuk itu peneliti selanjutnya akan meneliti faktor – faktor penyebab tenaga medis kurang patuh dalam menerapkan penggunaan APD. Kata kunci : Penerapan, Pengunan APD, Tenaga Kesehatan/ ABSTRACT Maruli Tua (01502190011) IMPLEMENTATION OF THE USE OF HEALTH PROTOCOL: PPE IN THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC PERIOD IN ONE HOSPITAL IN WEST JAVA (xii + 57 Pages; 1 Chart;4 Table; 6 Appendix) Background : Medical personnel in hospital have a higher risk of occupational diseases than other workers. The current Covid-19 pandemic situation has resulted in a high mortality rate for health workers and the availability of PPE in units. Purpose: This study aims to describe the application of the use of health protocols: PPE (personal protective equipment). Methods : This study used a quantitative descriptive research method by observing health workers, namely medical personnel during the Covid-19 pandemic. The sample in this study amounted to 55 respondents. The instrument used in the study was the observation checklist sheet with reference to the standard operating procedures in the hospital. Results : The study found that 85.5% of respondents were mostly women, most of them 54.5% were nurses, while data was obtained for 20% of respondents. working in the emergency department. The results showed that out of 55 respondents 63.6% (n = 35) of them applied the use of PPE. Conclusion: The use of PPE during the pandemic in one of the hospitals in West Java has not been going well, for this reason the next researcher will examine the factors that cause medical personnel to be less compliant in applying the use of PPE.
