GAMBARAN FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMENGARUHI PELAKSANAAN BEDSIDE HANDOVER DI SATU RUMAH SAKIT SWASTA INDONESIA TENGAH (77 Halaman; 1 Bagan; 8 Tabel; 11 Lampiran) Latar belakang: Komunikasi yang efektif adalah salah satu kunci keberhasilan pelayanan kepada pasien di rumah sakit. Bedside handover adalah satu bentuk pertukaran informasi antara perawat jaga setiap shift disamping tempat tidur pasien. Metode ini jauh lebih efektif dibanding bentuk handover tradisional lain, karena dalam proses bedside handover tidak hanya melibatkan perawat antar shift jaga tetapi pasien dan keluarga dapat aktif terlibat, paham semua informasi medis terkait kondisi dan rencana tindak lanjut. Namun dalam pelaksanaannya ada afaktor external dan internal yang dapat mempengaruhi bedside handover. Tujuan penelitian: untuk mengetahui gambaran faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi pelaksanaan bedside handover Metode penelitian: penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 90 perawat yang bekerja di ICU dan ruang rawat inap di satu rumah sakit swasta Indonesia Tengah. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner yang dibuat sendiri oleh peneliti dan telah dilakukan uji validitas dan realibilitas dengan r hitung > r tabel (0.320) dengan Cronbach alpha > 0.7 terdiri dari 8 pertanyaan pilihan ganda dan 29 pernyataan dengan skala Likert. Analisa data dengan analisa univariat. Hasil penelitian: sebanyak 51.1 % responden dengan tingkat pengetahuan cukup terhadap pelaksanaan bedside handover, sebanyak 55.6 % responden dengan beban kerja rendah, sebanyak 51.1 % dengan waktu cukup dan sebanyak 54.4 % responden dengan dukungan sejawat baik. Rekomendasi : bagi peneliti lain dapat mengembangkan penelitian ini dengan mencari faktor internal atau eksternal lain yang dapat mempengaruhi pelaksanaan bedside handover seperti komunikasi, kelelahan, memori, garis tanggung jawab, interupsi, kebisingan dan variasi proses. Bedside handover is a form of information exchange between nurses on duty every shift beside the patient's bed. This method is much more effective than other traditional forms of handover, because the bedside handover process does not only involve nurses between shift to shifts but the patient and family can be actively involved, understand all medical information related to the condition and follow up plans. However, in practice there are external and internal factors that can affect the bedside handover. Objective: to describe the factors that influence the implementation of bedside handovers. Methodology: this study is a quantitative descriptive study. The population in this study amounted to 90 nurses who work in the ICU and inpatient department in a private hospital in Central Indonesia. The sampling technique used total sampling. The research instrument was in the form of a questionnaire that was made by the researcher and tested for validity and reliability with r count> r table (0.320) with Cronbach alpha> 0.7 consisting of 8 multiple choice questions and 29 statements with a Likert scale. Data analysis with univariate analysis. Results: 51.1% of respondents with sufficient knowledge of the implementation of bedside handover, 55.6% of respondents with low workload, 51.1% with sufficient time and 54.4% of respondents with good peer support. Recommendation: other researchers can develop this research by looking for other internal or external factors that can affect the implementation of bedside handovers such as communication, fatigue, memory, lines of responsibility, interruptions, noise and process variations.
