Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas fenomena yang terjadi dalam e-commerce Tokopedia. Terlepas dari pencapaian dan fitur – fitur terbaru di Tokopedia pada tahun 2020 – 2021, Tokopedia pernah menduduki penurunan pengunjung secara drastis yang menggeser peringkat dalam pengunjung terbanyak e-commerce di Indonesia dari peringkat pertama hingga menjadi peringkat kedua pada tahun 2019. Ulasan online telah menjadi tren bagi pengunjung e-commerce dalam membantu pembeli sebagai sumber informasi dan faktor penentu keputusan pembelian. Penelitian ini akan membahas Emotional Content sebagai variabel independen, Perceived Product Quality sebagai variabel mediasi, Purchase Decision sebagai variabel dependen, Perceived Empathy dan Perceived Cognitive Effort sebagai variabel moderasi. Subjek penelitian ini merupakan pelanggan Tokopedia yang pernah berbelanja di aplikasi atau website Tokopedia yang berusia di atas 17 tahun dan berdomisili di Indonesia dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 220 orang. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan solusi aplikatif yang berguna bagi pengguna dan perusahaan.
