Background: Postpartum maternal knowledge about nutrition is one indicator in determining maternal health. Postpatrum is a period of involution which is the return of the uterus as before before pregnancy, which causes several changes including the increase in pulse, blood pressure, temperature, changes in lactation and breastfeeding, changes in other body systems such as the kidneys, cardiovascular, and renal system. With these changes greatly affect the nutritional condition of the mother so that she needs extra nutrition to meet her nutritional needs. Research Objectives: This study aims to identify the level of nutrition knowledge postpartum mothers at the Binong Health Center. Research methods: This research uses descriptive quantitative research methods, the data analysis used is univariate. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a population of 268 postpartum mothers, and a sample of 30 people in the Binong region. The instrument in this study used a mother's knowledge questionnaire with a VR Cronbach alpha value of 0.832. This research was conducted in April-May 2020. Results: Based on the results of the study found that postpartum mothers in the Binong Puskesmas had a good level of knowledge of 53.3% (16 people), 40% (12 people), and 6.7% (2 people)) who have less knowledge. Conclusion: Postpartum mothers in binong puskesmas have a good level of knowledge about nutrition, 16 mothers (53.3%). Recommendation: The researcher is expected to further expand the factors that influence the level of knowledge, so that it can describe the results of a broader study, and can look for the relationship between the level of knowledge of postpartum mothers with education, employment, economics and socio-culture. Puskesmas are expected to be able to improve health services by providing education and counseling related to nutrition to postpartum mothers. It is also hoped that this research can be the basis of knowledge of postpartum mothers, especially those with educational backgrounds below high school. so that mothers can realize the importance of knowledge in fulfilling nutrition.
