Background: Exclusive breastfeeding is given to infants aged 0 to 6 months without additional food. Reviewed by UNICEF data (2013), 32.6% get exclusive breastfeeding until the age of six months, in some developing countries 39% of mothers give exclusive breastfeeding. Nationally, the average coverage of exclusive breastfeeding is 54.3%, around 45.7% of babies in Indonesia have not received exclusive breastfeeding. Data on community success in the Binong village in Tangerang in 2018 there were 702 babies from 1879 getting exclusive breastfeeding. In 2019 decreased, 491 babies get exclusive breastfeeding from 1986 toddlers. Data on the comunities in Binong, has 75 mothers with children aged 0- 24 months. Research Objectives: To identify the level of mother's knowledge about the importance of exclusive breastfeeding in one of the communities in Binong. Research Methods: The study population was 75 mothers with children aged 0-24 months in one of communities in Binong, a sample of 75 mothers according to inclusion criteria. The instrument used a questionnaire with a Cronbach's alpha value of 0.785. Quantitative research methods with descriptive design. The sampling technique uses total sampling with univariate analysis. Results: The mother's knowledge of exclusive breastfeeding was in the good category of 50 mothers (66.7%), sufficient knowledge of 18 mothers (24%), and less knowledge of 7 mothers (9.3%). Conclusion: The level of knowledge of mothers with children aged 0-24 months in one of the communities in Binong Tangerang is in the good category. Recommendation: for further researchers, it is recommended to look for the relationship between maternal knowledge and maternal behavior in exclusive breastfeeding
