Background: Tuberculosis (TB) is caused by the Mycobacterium tuberculosis which most often attacks the lungs. TB can spread from person to person through the air when people with TB cough, sneeze or spit, they push TB germs into the air and make the people around them inhale these germs so they can be infected by the bacteria. In 2018 there were 240 cases per 100,000 population in Indonesia, causing a lot of negative and positive stigma in tuberculosis patients. Stigma against tuberculosis can have a negative impact on the treatment process. Aim: To identify the demographic characteristics of respondents as well as a description of the stigma of nursing students in tuberculosis patients at a private university in Indonesia. Research Methods: This study uses a quantitative descriptive research method with a purposive sampling approach. The sample in this study amounted to 259 people. The instrument used in the study was the nursing student stigma questionnaire in TB. The data analysis technique used is univariate analysis. Result: This study shows the results of the research stigma of nursing students at One Private University in Indonesia obtained a low stigma of 135 people (52.1%), and a high stigma of 124 people (47,9%). Discussion: Nursing students at One Private University in Indonesia already know about pulmonary TB disease. Therefore students who have learned about the disease are expected to be able to apply low stigma in patients with pulmonary TB.
