Abstract

Siloam Kebon Jeruk has opened opportunities for apprentice to participate in internship activities in the form of training and project work from company’s mentor. In this internship project, the apprentice got an assignment from company’s mentor to try to install the cloud through Ubuntu. However, the project has been changed according to the mentor’s direction. Therefore, the Nextcloud-based hybrid cloud installation has been carried out by applying the agile method. Before starting the installation, the apprentice has compared the specification setting that used with the required specification by Nextcloud. The installation process has carried out by the apprentice has divided into five stages i.e., creating cloud server on DigitalOcean, creating remote access using Solar-PuTTY, installing VirtualBox, installing Ubuntu, and installing Nextcloud. Nextcloud-based hybrid cloud installation has been successfully installed.The main features and additional features which had been tested, have produced good results and the whole work has been accepted by mentor. / Siloam Kebon Jeruk membuka peluang kepada pemagang untuk mengikuti kegiatan magang berupa pelatihan dan pengerjaan proyek dari mentor perusahaan. Dalam proyek magang ini, pemagang diberi tugas oleh mentor untuk melakukan instalasi private cloud berbasis Nextcloud menggunakan Ubuntu. Namun, proyek mengalami perubahan sesuai dengan arahan mentor. Oleh sebab itu, pemasangan hybrid cloud berbasis Nextcloud ini dilakukan dengan menerapkan metode agile. Sebelum memulai instalasi, pemagang membandingkan pengaturan spesifikasi yang digunakan dengan spesifikasi yang dibutuhkan Nextcloud. Proses instalasi yang dilakukan oleh pemagang terbagi menjadi lima tahap, yaitu pembuatan cloud server pada DigitalOcean, pembuatan remote access menggunakan Solar-PuTTY, pemasangan VirtualBox, pemasangan Ubuntu, dan pemasangan Nextcloud.Pemasangan hybrid cloud berbasis Nextcloud telah berhasil dipasang. Fitur utama dan fitur tambahan yang telah diuji, telah membuahkan hasil yang baik dan seluruh pekerjaan telah diterima oleh mentor.
