Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana kesiapsiagaan BNI dalam menangani pandemi Covid-19, khususnya sebelum, saat dan setelah krisis. Studi ini juga mengeksplorasi pengalaman para staff perbankan untuk memberikan wawasan tentang situasi tersebut. Penelitian ini ingin memahami peran tim komunikasi korporat dan bagaimana mereka berkomunikasi kepada publik selama krisis. Latar belakang teoritis penelitian ini terkait dengan , komunikasi krisis, krisis dan manajemen krisis. Namun, fokusnya adalah kepada komunikasi krisis; pra, selama, dan setelah krisis. Apa peran komunikasi korporat dan strategi respons (Crisis Response Strategy) seperti apa yang digunakan untuk berkomunikasi dengan publik berdasarkan Situational Crisis Communication Theory (SCCT). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kasus dari data yang telah dikumpulkan dan dievaluasi oleh peneliti. Studi dilakukan dengan mewawancarai staf BNI, dan menganalisis isi press release dan laporan resmi BNI. Temuan menunjukkan kesiapan bank untuk krisis, selama dan setelah. Ini juga mengungkapkan bagaimana BNI menggunakan strategi komunikasi dan bagaimana penerapannya dalam praktik. Oleh karena itu, akan meningkatkan pemahaman tentang pentingnya peran tim komunikasi dan dapat dianggap sebagai pelajaran. Kesimpulannya, karena pandemi Covid-19 adalah salah satu pandemi paling menantang dan mematikan yang pernah menimpa dunia dan salah satu yang paling menantang bagi sebuah organisasi; Bank Negara Indonesia, studi ini menyoroti bagaimana organisasi menanganinya dan strategi yang diadopsi untuk berkomunikasi dengan publik. / This study aims to analyse how BNI's preparedness is in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic, especially before, during and after the crisis. This study also explores the experiences of banking staff to provide insight into the situation. This study aims to understand the role of corporate communications teams and how they communicate to the public during a crisis. The theoretical background of this research is related to, crisis communication, crisis and crisis management. However, the focus is on crisis communication; before, during, and after crisis. What is the role of corporate communication and what kind of crisis response strategy is used to communicate with the public based on Situational Crisis Communication Theory (SCCT). The method used in this research is a case study from data that has been collected and evaluated by the researcher. The study was conducted by interviewing BNI staff, and analysing the contents of press releases and official BNI reports. Findings indicate bank readiness for crisis, during and after. It also reveals how BNI uses its communication strategy and how it is implemented in practice. Therefore, it will increase understanding of the important role of the communication team and be considered as a lesson. In conclusion, because the Covid-19 pandemic is one of the most challenging and deadly pandemics to ever hit the world and among the most challenging for an organization; Bank Negara Indonesia, this study highlights how organizations handle it and the strategies adopted to communicate with the public.
