Pada tahun 2020 lalu, dunia dilanda virus Corona yang disebut dengan COVID19. Kemunculan virus ini sangat berdampak pada kehidupan manusia baik secara finansial dan juga sosial. Sampai dengan saat ini, belum ada berita mengenai kapan virus ini akan berakhir. Hal tersebut membuat masyarakat merasa cemas. Tak hanya itu banyak informasi dan berita palsu mengenai COVID-19 yang tersebar di masyarakat. HUMAS merupakan jembatan penghubung komunikasi antara masyarakat dengan organisasi yang bersumber dari POLRI. HUMAS bertanggung jawab untuk mencegah adanya penyebaran berita-berita palsu di masyarakat dan melakukan media monitoring. Media Monitoring didukung oleh aplikasi Media Management Cente yang berfungsi untuk mendeteksi, memantau seluruh pemberitaan di media. Laporan magang ini dibuat untuk mengetahui bagaimana berjalannya media monitoring pada HUMAS POLDA Metro Jaya./In the 2020, the world was hit by Corona Virus Disease or as known as COVID19. The emergence of this virus has greatly impacted human life both financially and socially. Until now, there is no definite news about when this virus will end. This makes people feel anxious. Not only that, there is a lot of fake information and news about COVID-19 that is spreading in the community. Public Relation Division is a communication bridge between the community and organizations originating from the POLRI (Indonesian National Police) . Public Relations is responsible for preventing the spread of fake news in the community and conducting media monitoring. Media Monitoring is supported by the Media Management Center application which functions to detect, monitor all news in the media. This internship report was made to find out how the monitoring of media at the POLDA Metro Jaya Public Relations works.
