Background: Skills lab in the world of nursing is learning from health services that requires the application of professional nursing knowledge and skills (Muntamah, 2017). The skills lab competency test functions to see or assess student competencies and clinical skills in an objective and structured manner (Andrianie et al, 2013). Research purposes : to determine the relationship between the quality of learning skills lab with the success of the skills lab competency test at the Faculty of Nursing at Pelita Harapan University. Research methods : This research uses quantitative research methods with the type of descriptive correlational research. The research instrument used was secondary data or documents requested from the Faculty and a questionnaire of the quality of learning skills lab with sampling techniques using total sampling. Analysis of the data used is univariate and bivariate with chi square statistical tests. Result of research: no relationship between the quality of laboratory learning with the success of the skills lab competency test with p-value of 0,557. Conclusion: no relationship between the quality of laboratory learning with the success of the skills lab competency test due to other factors.
