Background: Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a disorder in the body metabolic system in producing insulin. several factors that can affect type 2 diabetes are age, gander, IMT, family history, education, physical activity and work. In the North Java Cilacap Christian Church (JCC) routinely conducts routine blood sugar checks every month and there are 50 people who have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes with an age range of 26-55 years, so the importance of this research is conducted so that members of the North Cilacap GKJ congregation can control blood sugar with how to schedule a regular exercise, and maintain a healthy diet. Objective: To look at risk factors for the incidence of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adult congregants in North Cilacap GKJ. Research Methods: This research uses quantitative research methods with descriptive research designs. The total sample of 50 congregants diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in North Cilacap GKJ. Results: Respondents who had a BMI of 25-27 were 38 respondents (76%), the majority of respondents were female respondents as many as 36 respondents (72%) , respondents aged 46 to 55 years were 21 respondents (42%), most respondents worked as housewives ie 21 respondents (42%), the last education majority had completed S1 as many as 23 respondents (46%), most respondents did light physical activities namely as many as 29 respondents (58%) and all respondents have families with type 2 DM as many as 50 respondents (100%). Suggestion: Puskesmas and Church need to conduct socialization and education to congregants about DM disease as well as schedule regular exercise for members of the congregation who have DM to increase physical activity.
