Background: High-quality CPR is administering CPR according to American Heart Association (AHA) 2015 standard, which consists of five main components: chest compression speed 100-120 times/minute, depth of compression 5cm-6cm, full recoil after each compression, minimizing interruptions <10 seconds and the ratio of chest compression with ventilation is 30: 2. Research conducted on 30 nursing students at a university in Thailand showed that after three months experienced decreased of knowledge about CPR. Objective: To find description of the knowledge of nursing profession students about high-quality CPR in private university in western Indonesia. Method: This is quantitative descriptive study. The population in this study were 459 nursing students in a private university in western Indonesia. The sample were 49 students taken using purposive sampling technique. Data collection was performed using "Overview of Nurse Knowledge About High-quality Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Questionnaire " which had been tested for validity and reliability by previous researchers. Results: Research shows that professional nursing students have sufficient knowledge about high-quality CPR Recommendation: Recommended to the students to improve their knowledge about highquality CPR, and also for the researcher to observe the CPR directly.
