Background: Pulmonary TB is an infectious disease through the air or droplets that attack the lungs caused by mycobacterium tuberculosis. Pulmonary TB is one of the 10 largest diseases in the world and is the third leading cause of death after cardiovascular disease. In 2018 and 2017 there were 420,994 cases of pulmonary TB in Indonesia. men 3 times more pulmonary TB disease than women and most in the productive age. Aim: To find a description of nursing problem that often arise of pulmonary TB disease. Methods: This study uses literature studies with thematic analysis methods: A simplified approach. The articles used were taken from the PubMed database: 5 articles, Google Scholar: 118 articles, while on EBSCOHost there are no articles, then analyzed and criticized using critical assessments from The Joanna Briggs Institute, thus getting five articles used. Results: From the article translated and criticized in this Literature Review, two themes were obtained, namely nursing problems ineffective bairway clearance from the safety domain and protection as well as nursing problems impaired gas exchange from the domain of elimination and exchange. Conclusion: The main nursing problem in pulmonary TB disease is ineffective airway clearance.
