Abstract

dimulai pada tahun 2020, COVID-19 dinyatakan oleh WHO sebagai masalah global atau disebut juga sebagai pandemi. Dengan Pandemi yang sedang berlangsung hal ini memberikan dampak langsung terutama pada segi Kesehatan termasuk juga terhadap kesehatan mental seseorang. Pandemi COVID- 19 yang terjadi menyebabkan mudahnya rasa cemas seseorang meningkat, dikarenakan ketidakpastian akan hilangnya atau selesainya pandemi yang berlangsung, tingkat keparahan dari infeksi COVID-19 sendiri,, belum ditemukannya terapi untuk infeksi COVID-19, dan keefektivan vaksin COVID-19. Penyebab-penyebab tersebut dapat meningkatkan rasa cemas seorang individu dan dapat memicu timbulnya gejala somatik akibat adanya gangguan psikosomatik. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk melihat apakah adanya perbedaan nilai tingkat gejala somatik dalam kurun waktu 3 bulan (Januari – Maret 2021) pada masa pandemi COVID-19 di tahun 2021 pada mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Pelita Harapan. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode cohort retrospective kepada 74 responden yaitu mahasiswa preklinik fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Pelita Harapan. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ 15 ). Analisa data akan dilakukan dengann menggunakan program SPSS versi 23. Didapatkan nilai rata-rata Gejala somatik pada bulan Januari yaitu 6.92 dan pada bulan Maret 7.16 (p > 0.005), beberapa dari gejala somatik mengalami peningkatan, penurunan atau tidak terdapat perbedaan. Tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara Nilai Gejala Somatik pada bulan Januari dan Maret pada masa pandemi COVID-19 2021. / Starting in 2020, COVID-19 was declared by WHO as a global problem or also known as a pandemic. With the ongoing pandemic, this has a direct impact, especially in terms of health, including one's mental health. The COVID- 19 pandemic that occurs makes it easy for a person to feel anxious, due to uncertainty about the disappearance or completion of the ongoing pandemic, the severity of the COVID-19 infection itself, the absence of therapy for COVID-19 infection, and the effectiveness of the COVID-19 vaccine. These causes can increase the anxiety of an individual and can trigger the emergence of somatic symptoms due to psychosomatic disorders. This study aims to see whether there are differences in the value of somatic symptom levels within a period of 3 months (January – March 2021) during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021 for students of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Pelita Harapan. This research was conducted using a retrospective cohort method to 74 respondents, namely preclinical students of the Faculty of Medicine, Pelita Harapan University. Data were collected using the Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ 15 ). Data analysis will be carried out using the SPSS version 23 program. The average value of somatic symptoms in January was 6.92 and in March 7.16 (p > 0.005), some of the somatic symptoms increased, decreased or there was no difference. There is no significant relationship between Somatic Symptom Values in January and March during the 2021 COVID-19 pandemic.
