Abstract

Dewasa ini dalam masa pandemi COVID-19, beberapa inovasi yang membantu mengurangi kontak fisik dan mencegah penularan telah diterapkan, khususnya pada tempat yang rawan, seperti misalnya dalam lift. Salah satu dari inovasi tersebut adalah tombol sensor inframerah tanpa kontak yang menggantikan tombol konvensional pada lift. Akan tetapi kemungkinan kontak disengaja maupun tidak disengaja masih dapat terjadi. Karena implementasinya yang baru, masyarakat mungkin saja tidak terbiasa atau bahkan tidak sadar akan perubahan tersebut dan mencoba untuk menekan tombol. Selain itu, tombol juga dapat dengan tidak sengaja tersentuh oleh beberapa orang. Untuk dapat lebih jauh lagi membatasi kontak dengan vektor penularan, diusulkan ide untuk memberikan akses alternatif dengan menggunakan gawai sehingga kontak dapat dibatasi pada benda milik pribadi. Agar klien yaitu Program Studi Teknik Industri Universitas Pelita Harapan dapat mendemonstrasikannya, suatu alat peraga harus dirancang dan dibangun. Selain daripada mendemonstrasikan fungsi dasar lift serta diakses tanpa kontak langsung, alat peraga dirancang dapat memulihkan daya untuk mencakup topik yang lebih luas sehingga diharapkan dapat memperluas wawasan dan memberikan inspirasi apabila alat peraga digunakan dalam lingkup edukasi. Untuk mendapatkan gambaran perancangan alat peraga lift, kebutuhan-kebutuhan yang ada ditinjau dengan bantuan ahli dan dengan observasi langsung. Pembatasan rancangan juga ditentukan pada tahap ini, mempertimbangkan bahwa alat peraga adalah miniatur dan memiliki sifat dan kebutuhan yang berbeda dengan skala aslinya. Perancangan atau desain alat peraga dimulai dengan kabin dan kemudian kerangka shaft. Dari dimensi dan berat hasil perancangan dan perakitan pertama ini dapat kemudian ditentukan komponen lain yang digunakan. Setelah proses perakitan, program untuk lift dibuat. Pada tahap implementasi ini terdapat banyak masalah yang muncul dan diselesaikan baik dari program maupun dari komponen perangkat keras. Pada akhirnya rancangan alat peraga telah direalisasikan sesuai dengan harapan. / Recently, during the COVID-19 pandemic, several innovations that helped reduce physical contact and prevent the spread of the disease were implemented, especially in vulnerable places, for example within an elevator. One of said innovations was the infrared contactless button that replaced the old conventional buttons used in elevators. However, chances of contact, be it intended or unintended remains. Due to its recent implementation, the society at large is likely not yet used to it or even unaware of the change made and tried to press the buttons. Even if it was not the case, the buttons remain available for anyone to accidentally touch. To further limit contact with the disease vector, an idea was proposed to provide an alternative access point using smartphones so that contact is limited to personal items. For the client that is the Department of Industrial Engineering of Pelita Harapan University be able to demonstrate it, a demonstration device must be designed and built. Other than being able to demonstrate the basic functions of an elevator and the proposed mobile access, the demonstration device was designed to also be able to recover energy to cover a wider range of topics in hopes that if it is used in an educational setting, it will be able to broaden the horizon for and give inspiration to anyone willing to learn. To obtain an overview of how to design the elevator demonstration device, its needs were reviewed with the help of an expert and by direct observation. Design limitations were also determined at this stage, considering that as a miniature, the device will have different properties and needs from that of the original. Designing starts with the cabin and then the shaft. From the dimensions and weight of this first design and assembly process, the requirements of other components could then be determined. After the assembly process, the program was then created. At this implementation stage, a lot of problems were raised and resolved from both the software and the hardware. In the end, the demonstration device design was realized according to what is hoped and expected.
