Latar Belakang: Jerawat atau acne vulgaris merupakan penyakit kulit yang sering dijumpai dalam sehari-hari. Di Indonesia, jerawat berada di urutan ketiga dari penyakit dengan jumlah pengunjung terbanyak di Departemen Ilmu Kesehatan Kulit dan Kelamin di Rumah Sakit. Terdapat faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan penyakit ini seperti genetik, ras, hormon, iklim, pola makan, IMT, penggunaan kosmetik, serta stress. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor mana saja yang berhubungan dengan tingkat keparahan jerawat pada mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Pelita Harapan. Metode: Penelitian menggunakan desain studi potong lintang dengan sampel penelitian berjumlah paling sedikit 104 subjek dari mahasiwa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Pelita Harapan yang diambil secara convenience sampling. Pengambilan data dilakukan dari Maret 2020 hingga Juni 2020. Digunakan metode chi-square serta regresi logistik untuk dilakukan uji statistik. Hasil Analisis Data: Terkumpul 134 sampel penelitian. Pada uji Chi Square IMT diperoleh nilai p = 0,376, pola makan diperoleh nilai p = 0,043, penggunaan kosmetik diperoleh nilai p = 0,074, dan stres diperoleh nilai p = < .001. Pada uji statistik multivariat, diperoleh nilai OR = 5,909 pada faktor stress. Kesimpulan: Terdapat dua hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat keparahan jerawat yaitu dengan faktor pola makan dan faktor stres, di mana faktor stres merupakan faktor yang paling memengaruhi. / Background: Acne or acne vulgaris is a common skin disease that can be found on daily basis. In Indonesia, acne ranks 3rd on diseases with the most patients in skin departments in hospitals. There are numerous factors that are associated with acne such as genetics, races, hormones, climates, dietary habit, BMI, cosmetics use, and stress. Aim: The aim of this study is to know which factors are associated with the severity levels of acne in students at the Faculty of Medicine, Pelita Harapan University. Method: This research uses cross sectional study design. There are a total of at least 104 subjects of Faculty of Medicine students at Pelita Harapan University that participates for the research by using convenience sampling method. Data taking was held from March 2020 to June 2020. Chi-square method and logistic regression was used for statistical test. Result: 134 respondents participated. The Chi-square test of BMI results p value of 0,376, diet results p value of 0,043, cosmetics use results p value of 0,074, and stress results p value of < .001. The multivariate statistical test results OR value of 5,909 from the stress factor. Conclusion: There are two significant affecting factors that contribute to acne severity, the diet factor and the stres factor. The stress factor is the most affecting factor above all.
