Kebutuhan akan telekomunikasi sudah semakin vital bagi masyarakat modern saat ini apalagi dengan terjadinya pandemik Covid-19, sektor telekomunikasi menjadi salah satu penunjang utama kegiatan belajar dan bekerja dari rumah selama masa pandemi ini. Kondisi ini turut membuat industri di bidang telekomunikasi dan penunjangnya semakin berkembang. Salah satu industri penunjang telekomunikasi adalah penyedia (provider) menara telekomunikasi untuk pemasangan perangkat telekomunikasi. PT. XYZ sebagai salah satu penyedia menara telekomunikasi dalam melaksanakan proyek pembangunan menara telekomunikasi tidak jarang mengalami keterlambatan dari target yang sudah ditentukan yang artinya tidak memenuhi sasaran kinerja waktu, hal ini disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor yang terjadi. Dalam penelitian ini didapatkan ada 7 (tujuh) faktor dan 31 (tiga puluh satu) variabel risiko yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja waktu proyek pembangunan menara, dan dari analisis yang dilakukan pada PT.XYZ didapatkan ada 3 (tiga) variabel risiko yang signifikan mempengaruhi keterlambatan pembangunan menara telekomunikasi yaitu : ketidaktepatan waktu pemesanan material, adanya keluhan dari warga akibat pelaksanaan konstruksi , perubahan desain/detail dalam waktu pelaksanaan. Dari variabel risiko yang signifikan tersebut dibuatkan langkah-langkah pencegahan/mitigasi yang dinilai efektif untuk mengurangi dampak risiko yang akan terjadi pada proyek sejenis berikutnya. / Need for telecommunications is increasingly vital for modern society today, especially with the Covid-19 pandemic situation, the telecommunications sector has become one of the main supports for learning and working from home during this pandemic. This condition also stimulate the industry in the telecommunications sector and its supports growing. One of the telecommunications supporting industries is the provider of telecommunications towers for the installation of telecommunications equipment. PT. XYZ as one of the telecommunications tower providers in carrying out telecommunications tower construction projects often experiences delays from the predetermined target which means that it does not meet the time performance target, this is due to several factors that occur. In this study, it was found that there were 7 (seven) factors and 31 (thirty one) risk variables that could affect the time performance of the tower construction project. From the analysis conducted at PT.XYZ, it was found that there were 3 (three) risk variables that significantly affected construction delays. telecommunication towers, namely: timeliness of ordering materials, complaints from residents due to construction, changes in design/details during implementation. From these significant risk variables, prevention/mitigation measures are made which are considered effective to reduce the impact of risks that will occur in the next similar project.
