Abstract
Perkembangan teknologi saat ini telah mendorong manusia untuk dapat
menggunakan teknologi untuk mempermudah sebuah pekerjaan. Penelitian ini
dilakukan pada tim operasional frontdesk Universitas Pelita Harapan Medan
Campus dalam penggunaan dan penggantian ruangan, permintaan pengecekan
barang ketinggalan/temuan, pencatatan pengambilan dan pengembalian spidol &
absensi. Pada saat ini, proses mengelola penggunaan dan penggantian ruangan
secara manual dan berbasis kertas, pengecekan barang ketinggalan/temuan harus
datang ke universitas secara manual, pencatatan menggunakan buku. Perancangan
sistem untuk tim operasional berbasis website, sehingga memudahkan dalam proses
mengelola penggunaan ruangan, pengambilan barang temuan, dan input data
pengambilan dan pengembalian spidol & absensi. Metode perancangan sistem
menggunakan metode Prototyping. Dalam pemodelan menggunakan Unified
Modelling Language (UML). Dalam proses perancangan menggunakan Adobe XD.
Sistem yang dirancang dapat memberikan gambaran kepada tim operasional
frontdesk dalam penggunaan dan penggantian ruangan, permintaan pengecekan
barang ketinggalan/temuan, pencatatan pengambilan dan pengembalian spidol &
absensi./Current technological developments have encouraged humans to be able to
use technology to facilitate a job. This research was conducted on the front desk
operational team of the Universitas Pelita Harapan Medan Campus in managing
the use of the room, requests to check for missing items/findings, recording of taking
and returning markers & attendance. At this time, the process of managing the use
of the room manually and paper-based, checking for missing items/findings must
come to the university manually, recording using a book. System design for websitebased operational teams, making it easier for the process of managing room use,
retrieval of findings, and input of data retrieval and return of markers &
attendance. The system design method uses the prototyping method. In modeling
using the Unified Modeling Language (UML). In the design process using Adobe
XD. The system designed can provide an overview to the frontdesk operational team
in the use and replacement of rooms, requests for checking missing items/findings,
recording of taking and returning markers & attendance.
