Abstract

Entrepreneurship has become a major force in the global economy, because it has the ability and willingness to organize, manage and develop a business venture together with all the risks to earn a profit. The best example to describe about entrepreneurship is with stating a new business. However, when starting a new business, the entrepreneur must have a characteristics of an entrepreneur in order to have a successful performance in their business. Therefore, the aim of this skripsi is to find out what entrepreneurial characteristics have an effect on business performance. The skripsi is conducted by the survey through a questionnaire to 30 people which is distributed to the manager, administration, and all the staff at the company. Data are analyzed using regression analysis method by Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) The result of the analysis shows that entrepreneurial characteristics significantly have an effect on business performance at PT Mitsui Leasing Capital. And it is also proved that entrepreneurial characteristics have a strong relationships with the performance of a business / Kewirausahaan telah menjadi kekuatan besar dalam ekonomi global, karena ia memiliki kemampuan dan kemauan untuk mengatur, mengelola dan mengembangkan usaha bisnis bersama dengan semua risiko untuk memperoleh laba. Contoh terbaik untuk menggambarkan tentang kewirausahaan adalah dengan menyatakan bisnis baru. Namun, ketika memulai bisnis baru, pengusaha harus memiliki karakteristik pengusaha agar dapat memiliki kinerja yang sukses dalam bisnis mereka. Oleh karena itu, tujuan skripsi ini adalah untuk mencari tahu apa karakteristik kewirausahaan memiliki efek pada kinerja bisnis. Skripsi ini dilakukan dengan survei melalui kuesioner kepada 30 orang yang dibagikan kepada manajer, administrator, dan semua staf di perusahaan. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis regresi dengan menggunakan Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik kewirausahaan secara signifikan memiliki efek pada kinerja bisnis di PT Mitsui Leasing. Dan juga untuk membuktikan bahwa karakteristik wirausaha memiliki hubungan yang kuat atau erat pada performa / kinerja suatu bisnis.
