PT. Makmur Jaya Indokawat adalah salah satu perusahaan swasta yang memproduksi dan menjual bahan kawat. Sistem penggajian yang sedang berjalan pada perusahaan masih menggunakan catatan kertas, sehingga menghabiskan banyak waktu dalam mencatat dan mengelola data absensi dan penggajian. Untuk lebih meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi kerja karyawan, maka akan dibuat sebuah sistem penggajian terkomputerisasi. Sistem usulan akan dirancang dengan metode waterfall dimana metode pendekatan sistem yang digunakan adalah pendekatan analisis dan pemrograman terstruktur. Proses analisis sistem berjalan akan menggunakan flow of document (FOD) dan desain sistem usulan menggunakan data flow diagram (DFD). Sedangkan, untuk merancang tampilan antarmuka sistem usulan akan digunakan software Microsoft Visual Basic.NET dan database dibuat dengan aplikasi Microsoft Office Access 2007, serta laporan didesain dengan aplikasi Crystal Report 13. Penelitian ini akan menghasilkan sebuah sistem penggajian terkomputerisasi yang diharapkan mampu meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi kerja karyawan./ PT. Makmur Jaya Indokawat is a company engaged in the production and sale of wire materials. The system is running still using the manual method, namely by using paper notes. The weakness of the existing system is that the system is inefficient, takes a lot of time in recording and processing the payroll process. Based on the test results, data processing performed via computerization is much better than manual, more efficient and effective. Therefore, this research will build a computerized payroll system to solve the problems faced by the company. The proposed system design will use the waterfall method with a systems approach method in the form of a structured analysis and programming approach as a process aid. The tools used to perform the analysis are flow of documents (FOD), design using data flow diagrams (DFD), designing the user interface form of the proposed system using the Microsoft Visual Basic.NET programming language, databases using Microsoft Office Access 2007, and Report format of the proposed system using Crystal Report 13. The result of this research is a computerized information system that can be used to provide payroll information that is useful in assisting and facilitating decision making.
