Abstract

In this research, to investigate the condition of Inhouse Reward System towards Employee Performance at Morning Glory Café Medan. The decrease of the performance of the employees which is marked with an error rate of work increases due to the lack of Inhouse Reward for employees. The theory used is related to Hospitality Management, Reward, and Employee Performance. Indicator of Inhouse Reward such as additions to basic pay, bonus, incentives, career and non-financial reward. Indicator of employee performance is amount of work, quality of work, timeliness, presence and ability to work together. In this research, the method used is quantitative analysis method. The type of data used in this study are primary and secondary data. Data was collected through interviews and questionnaires are distributed to the employees. The total population is 32 employees and the sample in the study amount 32 employees. Method of sampling in this study using census sampling. The scale used to measure variables is the Likert scale. The results of the partial test can be explained that t count (6.250) > t table (2.042) and significant value of 0.000 < 0.05, then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, namely: “Inhouse Reward System effect Employee Performance at Morning Glory Café Medan”. The Determination Coefficient Test results obtain R square value of 0.566, this means 56.6% of the dependent variable Employee Performance (Y) which can be explained by independent variable Inhouse Reward (X) while the remaining 43.3% is explained by other variables which was not used in this study. The conclusion in this study is the Inhouse Reward System effect Employee Performance at Morning Glory Café Medan./ Dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kondisi pengaruh penghargaan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan di Morning Glory Café Medan.Terjadinya penurunan kinerja karyawan yang ditandai dengan tingkat kesalahan kerja yang meningkat yang diakibatkan kurangnya pemberian Inhouse Reward bagi karyawan. Teori yang digunakan adalah terkait dengan Manajemen Perhotelan, hadiah, dan kinerja karyawan. Indikator penghargaan adalah tambahan untuk gaji dasar, bonus, insentif, karir dan non-keuangan. Indikator kinerja karyawan adalah jumlah pekerjaan, kualitas pekerjaan, ketepatan waktu, kehadiran dan kemampuan untuk bekerja sama. Dalam penelitian ini metode yang digunakan penulis adalah metode analisis kuantitatif. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dan penyebaran kuesioner kepada karyawan. Jumlah populasi sebanyak 32 karyawan dan sampel dalam penelitian berjumlah 32 karyawan. Teknik pengumpulan sampel mengunakan sensus. Skala yang digunakan untuk mengukur variabel adalah skala likert. Hasil uji parsial dapat dijelaskan bahwa t hitung (6,250 > t tabel (2,042) dan nilai signifikan 0,000 <0,05 maka Ha diterimadan Ho ditolak yaitu: “Sistem Penghargaan berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja Pegawai di Morning Glory Café Medan.” Hasil uji koefisieni determinasi diperoleh nilai R square sebesar 0,566, artinya 56,6% variabel dependen Kinerja Karyawan (Y) yang dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel independen Penghargaan (X) sedangkan sisanya 43,4% dijelaskan oleh lain-lain. variabel yang tidak digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Kesimpulanidalamipenelitian ini adalah adanya pengaruh Sistem Penghargaan terhadap KinerjaiKaryawan di Morning Glory Café Medan.
