Abstract
It is widely known that job satisfaction is one of the essential keys for organizational performance to be improved. Individual work performance, positive job results, including job satisfaction, job participation and the desire to stay with the company, rely on the match between the characteristics of an individual and the culture of the organization.
Company culture has a big influence on many primary organizational variables, such as employee satisfaction, employee efficiency, turnover, et cetera. Therefore, the writer is intrigued to analyse on the influence of organizational culture on workers’ job satisfaction.
The object of this study is PT. Sardana Indah Berlian Motor Medan, with 30 participants for pre-test and 95 respondents for the actual research. The research design is quantitative research with descriptive and causal research approach. Data is collected using questionnaires and the sampling technique used is simple random sampling method.
The result of this study shows that the overall job satisfaction is moderate, and the organizational culture model of the company is classified as Role Culture and Task Culture. Moreover, the hypothesis t-count (8.7) is greater than t-table (1.9858) which means organizational culture has an influence towards job satisfaction at PT. Sardana Indah Berlian Motor Medan./Umum diketahui bahwa kepuasan kerja merupakan salah satu kunci untuk meningkatkan kinerja organisasi. Performa kerja individu, hasil kerja yang baik, kepuasan kerja, partisipasi dan keinginan untuk menetap di perusahaan, bergantung pada kesesuaian antara karakteristik individu dan budaya organisasi.
Budaya organisasi berpengaruh besar terhadap berbagai variabel penting dalam perusahaan, seperti kepuasan karyawan, efisiensi karyawan, pergantian karyawan, dan lain-lain. Oleh karena itu, penulis tertarik untuk menganalisa pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap kepuasan kerja.
Objek penelitian ini adalah PT. Sardana Indah Berlian Motor Medan, dengan 30 peserta untuk pra-uji dan 95 responden untuk penelitian. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode riset deskriptif dan kausal. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner dan metode pengambilan sampel secara acak.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan kerja karyawan tergolong sedang dan model budaya organisasi di perusahaan ini tergolong sebagai budaya peran dan budaya tugas. Selain itu, hasil hipotesis t-hitung (8.7) lebih besar dari pada t-tabel (1.9858) yang berarti bahwa budaya organisasi memiliki pengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja di PT.Sardana Indah Berlian Motor Medan.
