Abstract

Penguasaan konsep, keterampilan berpikir kritis, dan kemampuan berpikir analitis diperlukan oleh peserta didik untuk meningkatkan pemahamannya terhadap suatu teks bacaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan rata-rata nilai pretest dan posttest penguasaan konsep,keterampilan berpikir kritis, dan kemampuan berpikir analitis peserta didik kelas VII A setelah menerapkan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek di SMP Santa Ursula BSD. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Santa Ursula BSD selama empat bulan (mulai dari 4 Januari sampai dengan 30 April 2021). Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VII SMP Santa Ursula BSD. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 38 peserta didik kelas VII A, terdiri dari 16 orang laki-laki dan 22 orang perempuan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen, tipe one group pretest-posttest design. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dengan instrumen rubrik pengamatan dan soal tes yang sudah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Data diuji nilai N-gainnya untuk mengetahui peningkatan di setiap variabel penelitian. Kemudian, uji hipotesis dengan wilcoxon signed rank test dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dua variabel. Hasil uji hipotesis penguasaan konsep nilai Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) = 0,000, keterampilan berpikir kritis dengan nilai Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) = 0,000, kemampuan berpikir analitis dengan nilai Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) adalah 0,000 lebih kecil dari 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata nilai pretest dan posttest penguasaan konsep,keterampilan berpikir kritis, dan kemampuan berpikir analitis peserta didik setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Selain itu, melalui nilai N-gain yang diperoleh, maka dapat disimpulkan terjadi peningkatan penguasaan konsep, keterampilan berpikir kritis, dan kemampuan berpikir analitis pada peserta didik setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek. / The mastery of concept, critically thinking skill, and analytical thinking are needed by the students to improve their understanding of a reading text. This research aims to analyze the mean difference of the pretest and posttest of conceptual understanding, critical thinking skill, and analytical thinking for the students of class VII A after implementing project-based learning model in SMP Santa Ursula BSD. This research was conducted at SMP Santa Ursula for fortymonths (from January4th to April 30th 2021). The subjects of this research were the students of class VII A, that consisted of 16 boys and 22 girls. This research is a quantitative research and was conducted using experiment method type one group pretest-posttest design.The data in this research was obtained from observation rubric instrument and test questions that had been examined its validity and reliability. The data was examined its N-gain score to find out the increase in every variable. Wilcoxon signed rank test hypothesis test is done to find out the relation of both variables. The research obtained that the result of hypothesis test of conceptual understanding is the Asymp. score Sig (2-tailed) = 0,000, critical thinking skill with the score of Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) = 0,000, and analytical thinking with the score of Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) is 0,000, it showed that the result of Asymp. Sig is smaller than 0,05. Based on the hypothesis test, it could be concluded that the implementation of project-based learning model resulted mean differences between pretest score and posttest score of conceptual understanding, critical thinking skill, and analytical thinking. Besides that, through N-gain score which is obtained in this research, it also can be concluded that there is an increase of conceptual understanding, critical thinking skill, and analytical thinking of the students after the implementation of project-based learning model.
