Abstract
Di masa pandemi COVID-19 industri perhotelan terjadi penurunan pemesanan kamar hotel. Dengan menurunnya TPK maka salah satu departemen yang terdampak adalah departemen front office. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisa dan menguji pengaruh lingkungan kerja dan pengembangan karir terhadap turnover intention karyawan departemen front office hotel bintang lima di DKI Jakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksplanatif. Dalam penelitian ini populasinya merupakan karyawan front office yang bekerja di hotel bintang lima DKI Jakarta dengan rentan usia 17-35 tahun. Sampel diambil dengan mengumpulkan informasi yang diperlukan dengan teknik Convenience Sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan selama masa pandemi COVID-19 dengan instrumen skala likert 1-6. Pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji koefisien korelasi, uji koefisien determinasi, analisis linear regresi sederhana dan uji t. Data yang diperoleh melalui program SPSS versi 24 untuk windows. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap turnover intention dengan hasil uji-t yang memiliki nilai sig. 0,001<0.05 dan pengembangan karir tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap turnover intention dengan hasil uji-t yang memiliki nilai sig. 1,155>0,05. / During the COVID-19 pandemic, hotel industry has been experiencing a decline in hotel room reservations. A declining in TPK affects the front office as one of the departments. The purpose of this research was to analyze and examine the influence of work environment and career development on employees turnover intentions of front office department in a five-stars hotel in DKI Jakarta. This is a qualitative research with a explanative method. The subject of this research was the front office employees with an average age of 17-35 years old that work in a five stars hotel in DKI Jakarta. The sample was taken by collecting the necessary informations needed with Convenience Sampling technique. Data collection was carried out during COVID-19 pandemic using a 1-6 likert scale instrument. Validity test, reliability test, normality test, correlation coefficient, determination coefficient, simple linear regression analysis and t-test were the hypothesis testing tools. Through a version 24 of SPSS program for Windows, the data was obtained. This research shows that the work environment has a negative significance effect on the turn over intention with the t-test value sig. 0,001<0,05 and career development has no significant influence on turnover intention with the t-test value sig. 1,155>0,05.
