Abstract

Daun ciplukan merupakan tanaman yang dapat digunakan sebagai pengobatan diabetes. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk membuat sediaan kapsul ekstrak daun ciplukan. Daun ciplukan diekstraksi dengan proses maserasi dengan pelarut etanol 95%. Pembuatan serbuk ekstrak dilakukan melalui pengeringan dengan Avicel PH 101 dan Aerosil dengan perbandingan ekstrak : Avicel PH 101 : Aerosil (1:0,15:0,05). Hasil optimasi kering diserbukkan dengan cara digerus dan diayak untuk digunakan dalam formulasi selanjutnya. Formulasi dilakukan dalam 3 formula berbeda. Formula A merupakan formula dengan bahan pengisi Avicel PH 102, formula B dengan bahan pengisi amilum jagung, dan formula C dengan bahan pengisi laktosa. Pada masing-masing formula ditambahkan magnesium stearat 2,5%, aerosil 2%, dan talkum 2%. Ketiga formula memiliki hasil organoleptik, kadar air, laju alir, sudut istirahat, kompresibilitas, dan waktu hancur yang memenuhi persyaratan sediaan kapsul./ Ciplukan leaves are a plant that can be used as a treatment for diabetes. This research was conducted to make preparations for ciplukan leaf extract capsules. Ciplukan leaves are extracted by maceration process with ethanol solvent 95%. The manufacture of extract powder is done through drying with Avicel PH 101 and Aerosil with extract comparison: Avicel PH 101 : Aerosil (1:0,15:0,05). The result of dry optimization is pollinated by crushing and sifted for use in subsequent formulations. Formulations are carried out in 3 different formulas. Formula A is a formula with avicel PH 102 filling material, formula B with corn amyloid filler material, and formula C with lactose filler material. In each formula added magnesium stearate 2,5%, aerosil 2%, and talkum 2%. All three formulas have organoleptic results, moisture content, flow rate,resting angle, compressibility, and crushed time that meet the requirements of capsule preparation.
