Abstract
Critical thinking skills, research skills and concepts mastery need to be developed in the learning process, especially to achieve the competencies needed by students in the 21st century. This study aims to analyze differences in critical thinking skills, research skills and concepts mastery of students in Christian Religious Education subjects by applying discovery learning model. This research was conducted at SMA Angkasa Lanud Husein Sastranegara for four months (4 January 2021 to 4 May 2021) with research subjects 11 people from all class XI. The method used in this research is quantitative research with experimental method by using pre-experimental design. The pre-experimental design used was one group pretest-posttest. The research instruments used to obtain data were a rubric and test questions that had been tested for validity and reliability. The obtained pretest and posttest values were then tested to find out the differences before and after being given the treatment using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results of hypothesis testing for critical thinking skills show the acquisition of asymp. sig. (2-tailed) = 0.003; researching skills with asymp. sig. (2-tailed) = 0.003; mastery of concepts with asymp. sig. (2-tailed) = 0.003. Based on that results, it can be concluded that there are differences in the critical thinking skills, research skills and conceptual mastery of students before and after they are given the treatment with discovery learning model. In addition, from the n-gain obtained, it can be seen that there is an increase in students' critical thinking skills, research skills and conceptual mastery before and after being given treatment with discovery learning models. / Kemampuan berpikir kritis, keterampilan meneliti dan penguasaan konsep perlu dikembangkan dalam proses pembelajaran khususnya untuk mencapai kompetensi yang dibutuhkan oleh peserta didik di abad ke-21. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis, keterampilan meneliti dan penguasaan konsep peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen dengan menerapkan discovery learning. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Angkasa Lanud Husein Sastranegara selama empat bulan (4 Januari 2021 sampai 4 Mei 2021) dengan subyek penelitian sebanyak 11 orang dari seluruh kelas XI. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian eksperimen dengan jenis pre-experimental design. Bentuk pre-experimental design yang dipakai adalah one group pretest-posttest. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data adalah rubrik dan soal tes yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Nilai pretest dan posttest yang diperoleh kemudian diuji untuk mengetahui perbedaan sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan dengan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon signed Rank Test. Hasil uji hipotesis kemampuan berpikir kritis menunjukkan perolehan asymp. sig. (2-tailed) = 0,003; keterampilan meneliti dengan asymp. sig. (2-tailed) = 0,003; penguasaan konsep dengn asymp. sig. (2-tailed) = 0,003. Dari hasil pengujian ini maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan kemampuan berpikir kritis, keterampilan meneliti dan penguasaan konsep peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan dengan model discovery learning. Selain itu dari n-gain yang diperoleh, maka dapat dilihat bahwa terjadi peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis, keterampilan meneliti dan penguasaan konsep peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan dengan model discovery learning.
